A cozy walking game where small spirits of light gather near your Lamp, and a walk always goes somewhere.
In one paragraph
Iskrio is a real-world walking game for iOS and Android. Place your Lamp somewhere you actually walk, and every night, spirits of light from tiny worlds appear around it, along nearby paths. Walk up to them and invite them to come with you. No streaks, no chat—miss a day and you miss nothing.
In three paragraphs
Iskrio begins with a single object: a Lamp. You place it somewhere you feel comfortable being seen—your street, your park, a favourite bench. It is neither your home address nor a landmark. Everything the game creates happens around your Lamp, so a village works just as well as a capital city.
At night, the Lamp calls out. The first spirits of light appear as soon as the Lamp is placed, and new ones arrive along nearby paths every night. Which ones depends on the ground beneath your feet and the weather outside your window. Walk up to them and invite them to come with you. Afterwards, they make their home in the Underlamp, a quiet scene beneath your light.
Iskrio deliberately leaves out the usual retention mechanics. Nothing expires, time away is never punished, and there is no chat—at all. Iskrio is free to play. Optional purchases include pollen packs, the Founder Pack and Iskrio+. Supplies never add a single iskrio to the map; they only reposition those already there, making tomorrow’s route more convenient—not more rewarding. And your walk can reach beyond your own journey: Keepers place their Lamps far apart, and by walking, you can help someone else invite an iskrio they could not reach themselves. Whether you walk alone or with others is always up to you.
