1. Who we are
Iskrio is a walking game for mobile devices. The game is published and operated by:
AllemoTech OÜ Sepapaja tn 6, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Tallinn 15551, Estonia
AllemoTech OÜ is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Questions about privacy, your data, or this policy: hello@iskrio.app
2. In short
- Iskrio uses your location only while the app is open and in use. It does not track you in the background.
- There is no advertising in Iskrio, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- Playing does not require an email address, a name, or a social account.
- You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time. See section 8.
3. What we collect and why
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Approximate and precise location, while the app is in use | The game is played on a real map: it decides where spirits appear around your Lamp and whether you are close enough to collect one | Performance of a contract (providing the game) |
| Account identifier. By default an anonymous identifier created on your device. If you choose to link a Google or Apple account: the identifier and email address of that account | To keep your progress and let you sign in on another device | Performance of a contract |
| Guardian name and friend code (both generated by us, not entered by you) | To show you to friends inside the game | Performance of a contract |
| Friendships, in-game reactions, help you give other players | The social features of the game | Performance of a contract |
| Game progress: collected spirits, level, Lamp position and characteristics, in-game currencies, items you own | The game itself | Performance of a contract |
| Purchase records: which item was bought, when, price, transaction reference | To deliver what you bought, to handle refunds, and to meet our accounting and tax obligations | Performance of a contract; legal obligation |
| Push notification token, if you allow notifications | To send one message a day: the morning summary of your night. There is no other type of notification in the game, and you can turn it off at any time | Consent |
| Usage events: screens opened, in-game actions, purchase steps, device type, app version, language | To understand how the game is used and to improve it | Legitimate interest in improving the game |
| Crash and error reports: what failed, device model, operating system version, app version | To find and fix defects | Legitimate interest in a working product |
Map area and weather data. To build the world around your Lamp, the game requests information about the surrounding map area — paths, parks, water and similar features — and the local weather. These requests describe an area of the map, not you: they carry no account identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
4. What we do not collect
- We do not use your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
- We do not use advertising identifiers, and there is no advertising or ad tracking in the game.
- We do not collect your real name, postal address, date of birth or phone number.
- We do not track your location while the app is closed or running in the background.
- We do not receive your payment card details. Payments are handled by the app store you bought from. We are told that a purchase happened and what was purchased — never your card number.
5. Who else is involved
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Like any app, Iskrio relies on service providers to run. They act only on our instructions, under written data processing agreements, and they may use the data only to provide the service to us. They fall into these categories:
- hosting, databases and account sign-in;
- app stores and payment processing;
- push notification delivery;
- usage analytics;
- crash and error reporting;
- map and weather data.
We will also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
If you would like to know which specific providers we use, write to hello@iskrio.app and we will tell you.
Outside Europe. Most processing happens within the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Some providers, in particular for app stores, payments and push notifications, process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Game and account data is kept for as long as your account exists, and is deleted with it.
- Accounts that were never played — created but with no Lamp and no game activity — are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Usage analytics is kept for up to 12 months. When you delete your account, we ask our analytics provider to delete the events recorded for it.
- Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. They never contain your account identifier, your name or your email address, so there is nothing in them to connect to you.
- Purchase records — what was bought, when, for how much, and the store transaction reference — are kept for as long as Estonian accounting law requires us to keep transaction records. This is the one thing that outlives your account, and we are legally obliged to keep it. These records never contained your name or your email address. They carry the internal identifier of the account that made the purchase, but once the account is deleted that identifier no longer belongs to any account and cannot be linked back to you by us or by anyone else.
7. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, push notifications);
- ask us to restrict processing;
- receive your data in a portable form;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Estonia this is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@iskrio.app. We answer within one month.
Because most accounts in Iskrio are anonymous, we may need you to prove that an account is yours before we act on a request — normally by giving us the friend code shown in your in-game profile.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data from inside the app, in your profile. Deletion is immediate and permanent: there is no waiting period, no deactivated state, and no way to restore an account afterwards. Everything you bought is lost with it, including a Founder Pack and its number.
The only thing that remains afterwards is the record of purchases described in section 6, which we are legally obliged to keep.
If you no longer have the app installed, you can ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@iskrio.app.
Full details are on our account deletion page.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on servers operated by our service providers. Access to live data is limited to the people who operate the game. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
10. Children
Iskrio is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, write to hello@iskrio.app and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will also say so inside the app before the change takes effect.
